On Thursday, 27th February we are hosting our second Rock for RAG, a joint venture with BIMM students in the Workmans. This gig not only raises money for a great cause but also showcases the tremendous talent that BIMM are producing.

If you are even a tiny bit interested in new music and if you enjoy know the next big thing before all your friends, this is the gig for you. Early Bird: €5, €7 online and €8 on the door (if still available). Early bird tickets go on sale on 27th January.

Classic Yellow

Classic Yellow are a garage/ indie rock quartet based in Dublin. The band take influence from the classic sounds of the 1960s. Expect a delightful mix of fuzzy guitars and cheesy ballads, topped off with a pinch of that old school psychedelia. Hot from their win of the Ex Oh Promotions Battle of the Bands in December, these guys are really making a name for themselves. They describe themselves as “a five-piece alternative pop/rock band from Dublin. We formed in 2018, we take inspiration from artists such as Lorde and Dreamwife”. Facebook page here.

Tøy Gril are a Dublin based ‘alternative soul/rock’ band. These guys are going from strength to strength. The band currently consists of members Hannah Worral (Lead vocals, Fiachra O’Mahony (Guitar/Backing Vocals, Ciaran Whelband (Guitar, Aran Hopkinson (Bass Guitar and Cian O’Leary Hegarty (Drums/Percussion). Jooce re a Dublin-based Psychedelic Rock Collective. They create soundscapes and build musical worlds for people to explore.  After releasing two singles and a successful Irish tour. These guys have been away from the live sence for a while but they made their return to the stage at Whelan’s Ones To Watch in January 2019. Follow on facebook here.
