16 DIT Students – past and present – battling head to head in the All Ireland Men’s Football Final this Sunday. Dublin and Mayo will go head
to head this weekend and the entire country will be watching. If you’re not from Dublin or Mayo, it might be hard to decide who to support. Turns out you don’t have to decide at all! Loads of these players studied together and played on the
DIT Sigerson Football team while students here at DIT. Seven of the sixteen students represented DIT in a Sigerson Final in 2009 and 2013. All of these college friendships will be put on hold for the seventy or whatever number of minutes it will take to separate these sides on Sunday!
