Living the Dream – Good Coffee & Good Wifi

Cafes to study dublin

We’re already more than half through the semester and exams are coming closer! Does this mean we have to barricade ourselves in the library or chain ourselves to our desk? Of course not. My strategy has always been to use breaks effectively. My timetable is full of gaps between different courses. On Wednesday for example, I have a four hours break. Sure, the first thing that would come to my mind would be to relax in the sun or do some shopping in that time. Cause I’m human. And I do it sometimes. But when I know that I got work to do, I use these breaks to study. But, like I said, I’m human. So I need something that will get me to do it and to cheer me up a little bit. That’s why, from time to time, I like spending a study break in a nice and cosy café close to college. As I am a total coffee addict, I’m always looking for new places to go. This is why I have found three favourite Cafés with Wifi and good coffee where you can get work done in a nice atmosphere. Want to try them? There you go!

Network Café

This café is situated in Aungier Street, right in front of DIT. The interior is really stylish, the coffee is delicious and they have little treats to cheer you up. They also serve brunch and lunch on some days! Not to forget, they have wifi and you will always find people working or studying there, so you’ll never be alone. My favourite place to sit is on the high chairs by the window!

Two Pups Coffee

This is literally the cutest café I’ve ever seen. There is so much love in every detail of the furniture and the accessories. They have delicious fresh scones (and other dangerous sweet temptations). But they also have some food for the healthy eaters, like porridge or avocado toasts. If you want to reward yourself after studying, they even have a lovely shop at the back of the café. My favourite place to sit is at the window, in the right corner after entering the café.

Kaph

I could spend hours in this cosy place. The café is on two floors, both are very comfortable and nicely arranged, but I prefer the upper floor for studying because it’s really calm and nobody will bother you. As for the coffee, it’s really good and even better accompanied by one of the delicious gluten free treats, as the raspberry chocolate brownie! Just saying…
