To coincide with the week of the Punchestown festival, we’ve got the perfect event lined up for you!
We’re taking every student’s favourite day of the year and making it virtual… On Wednesday, 28th April TU Dublin SU and the people behind Bingo Loco bring you Student Race Day 2021! Our comedian host will run participants through the race guide and following this, betting will be opened. Using betting software, you’ll be able make bets on your smartphone while watching the stream itself on a laptop/TV.
While the majority of races are horses, we like to shake things up by adding novelty races like ostriches or a segment from a Japanese game show into the mix. Students gain points for correct predictions, and lose points when they get it wrong. The overall winner will be vying for a prize package to the tune of €300, and we’ll also have a further €300 in spot prizes to be won through best dressed competition, head to head challenges and live phone games! Tickets are €5, with €2 from each sale going to the Irish Cancer Society.
Make sure to dig out your best outfits, bring your group of mates, and compete to be the winner of 2021 Student Race Day cup, and some spot prizes too!
