We are half way through our academic year and we wanted to bring you a quick update on our Raising and Giving efforts for the Irish Cancer Society so far. If you have attended one of our events, bought one of our raffle tickets or donated in any way – thank you so much! And if you haven’t had the opportunity to participate, keep reading for loads of ways you can help!
The Irish Cancer Society is an amazing organisation that provides essential support to the 43,000 people and their families who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. In Ireland, almost 120 people receive a cancer diagnosis every day. The Irish Cancer Society provides a range of support to help them through it; including night nurse care, driver services to and from chemotherapy appointments, counselling services for those affected by cancer, a free phone information line and information booklets for those who need more information about cancer.
